iQoo Z8x: Unveiling Battery Life, Specs, and Features | Latest Smartphone in the Z Series

 

The iQoo Z8x is set to provide approximately 20 hours of battery life during short video browsing.

 

Scheduled for unveiling in China on an upcoming Thursday, alongside the iQoo Z8, the iQoo Z8x joins the ranks of the company's Z series smartphones. Notably, iQoo has chosen to unveil the phone's primary specifications via Weibo. Driven by a Snapdragon chipset, the impending iQoo Z8x is expected to take over from its predecessor, the iQoo Z7x, which had its initial launch earlier this year in China. The latter model touts a substantial 6,000mAh battery and is bolstered by 80W fast charging capability.


According to information released by iQoo on Weibo, the upcoming iQoo Z8x will be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Impressively, this processor has achieved a noteworthy score of 600,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark test. The company asserts that the CPU performance has been enhanced by 25 percent, while GPU performance sees a 30 percent boost compared to its precursor.

Moreover, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has divulged details about the battery capacity of its imminent release. The iQoo Z8x is set to accommodate a 6,000mAh battery, paralleling the capacity of the iQoo Z7x. Allegedly, the phone will offer a maximum of 20 hours of video watching or up to 32 hours of reading and browsing time.


Other announcements from the company indicate that the iQoo Z8x will sport a dual rear camera system within two circular camera cutouts. However, specific specifications regarding the camera setup remain undisclosed.


Positioned as the successor to the iQoo Z7x, which was launched earlier this year in China, the iQoo Z8x boasts a 6.64-inch full-HD+ display boasting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC.

Featuring a dual rear camera setup highlighted by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, the iQoo Z7x additionally incorporates an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device relies on a substantial 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
