How to add and remove bank account in Paytm

Paytm is an Indian digital payments and financial services platform that allows you to transfer money with UPI, the Paytm wallet and your debit and credit card. You can transfer money from your bank to anyone without sharing any bank details. You can pay bills, recharge on phones and DTH, book train, bus, flight, movie tickets, buy insurance etc.

Paytm also have it's own e-commerce platform known as Paytm Mall and bank known as Paytm Payments Bank. You can buy electronic appliances, clothing, food & essentials, Kitchen appliances etc. on Paytm Mall.

1. You must have an ATM card of the same bank.

2. You must have a mobile number linked with bank account.

3. Registered mobile number on bank account and Paytm app must be same.

How to add bank account in Paytm?

Here are the simple steps you can follow to add bank account on Paytm.

1. Open Paytm app on your mobile.

2. 

• If you have newly created your Paytm account, you get the option of Add Bank A/c. click on that. 

• If you have your Paytm account, click on profile picture icon on left corner of the top. On the left navigation bar, select Link Bank Account.

3. Select a bank linked with your mobile number. You can easily search your bank in Search Icon.

4. Your bank account linked with  the mobile number will be fetched and all bank details will be shown on the screen. Select your bank account, now your bank account is added successfully.

5. You can also add your bank account through Your Accounts > UPI > Add Another Bank Account on left navigation bar.

Linking the bank account with Paytm makes money transfer less complicated and quick. You will not need to add your or receiver's account numbers and other bank details. You can make cashless payments with one touch.

How to remove bank account in Paytm?

Sometimes you don't want to use your bank account for any transactions. Don't worry! You can set your another bank account as a primary bank account to send or receive money or remove it from Paytm.

It's easier to remove your bank account from Paytm. Follow these simple steps.

1. Open you Paytm app on mobile.

2. Click on Profile Pic icon on left corner of the top.

3. Select Your Accounts from left navigation bar.

4. Select UPI option from the list.

5. Click on the Remove Account below your bank account details.

6. Click on the Yes, Remove Bank. Your bank account will be removed successfully from Paytm app.
