Twitter is an American microblogging ( Only 280 words per tweet are allowed ) and social networking service. Twitter allows registered users to write post and interact with messages known as "tweets". Only registered users are allowed to write tweet, like and retweet tweets. Unregistered users can only read those tweets which are publicly available and not protected.

How to delete Twitter account permanently?

Sometimes Twitter users don't want to use Twitter anymore. The reasons may be Tired on Twitter, want to start new fresh twitter account, fake twitter account or closed business etc. So that they want to delete this account permanently. Twitter has given simple steps to delete this account permanently from app / website.

Follow these simple steps to delete twitter account

1. Login to Twitter account using username and password.

2. Click on More located on the left navigation bar. 

3. Scroll down and select Settings and privacy.

4. You'll see 5 options on window. Select last option Deactivate your account.

 

6. Twitter will show you some information. Scroll down and click on Deactivate.

 

7. Enter your correct password and click on Deactivate. 

That's it. Note that deactivating twitter account is the first step of deleting your twitter account permanently. Deactivation period is 30 days. If you are not login to your twitter account within 30 days, your account will be deleted permanently and you won't be recover it again.

If you changed your mind within 30 days, you can login to your twitter account by using username and password and recover it again.
